No. TextDrop doesn't recognize speech itself — it lets you use the dictation that's already built into your phone, or simply type. Whatever text your phone produces can be sent to Windows.

Does it require the same local network?
Yes. Your phone and Windows PC need to be on the same local network. TextDrop doesn't route text through the internet.

Is any text uploaded or stored?
